Q&A

About Me:

Why are you raising money? Warrior Sailing is a nonprofit organization that recognizes the contributions that veterans have made to our country. Warrior Sailing uses funding to provide veterans with travel, lodging, food, and camp expenses. As a result, I will be required to independently fund my travel and lodging during my summer internship. I have created this website for anyone interested in not only purchasing my products or making a contribution but also to spread the word about my cause and Warrior Sailing. All proceeds will go directly to funding my Warrior Sailing internship during the summer of 2023.

Where will you be traveling? I will be traveling to New Orleans, LA in May for a New Orleans Basic Camp for Diversity. Following this, I will be in San Diego, CA for a portion of May and June to assist in both the National Veterans Summer Sports Clinic and a Basic Training Camp. During the months of July and August, I will be in Charlevoix, MI assisting with several courses including a Basic Training Camp, Safety at Sea certification, and local regattas including the Ugotta Regatta in Harbor Springs, MI. To wrap up, I will be traveling to Park City, UT at the end of August for an ASA 101 Basic Keelboat Certification.

Where can I find out information about Warrior Sailing? A brief summary of Warrior Sailing can be found on the About page. Additionally, feel free to visit https://warriorsailing.org/ for more information and to stay updated on upcoming events!

Products:

Are all items handmade? Each item listed for sale is carefully handcrafted by myself. Using repurposed frames, sea glass, and collected stones from the beaches of Lake Michigan, I have chosen designs to best suit the shapes and colors of the materials used. I take pride in my work and am excited to share my creations with others!

Where are your frames from? All frames are repurposed from various thrift stores or personal donations. Each frame is carefully chosen to complement the beach art placed inside.
